Product Care & Maintenance Guide

General Care Principles

  • Initial Preparation: Wash or wipe down all items before first use to remove handling dust or protective packaging residue.

  • Thermal Shock Prevention: Avoid exposing delicate ceramics, stoneware, and glassware to sudden temperature extremes (e.g., placing a chilled dish directly into a hot oven or running cold water over hot porcelain).

  • Gentle Cleaning: Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads, wire wool, and harsh industrial bleach or scouring powders.

Tableware & Dinnerware Care

Dishwasher Use

  • Tableware labeled dishwasher-safe should be cleaned on a gentle, low-temperature cycle (under 50°C) with a mild liquid detergent.

  • Load pieces securely so they do not vibrate or contact each other during the wash cycle to prevent micro-chipping.

Hand Washing (Recommended for Fine Finishes)

  • Wash using lukewarm water and a gentle, non-citrus dishwashing liquid.

  • Use a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge.

  • Dry immediately and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth to eliminate water spotting.

Microwave & Oven Safety

  • Use items in the microwave or conventional oven only when explicitly stated on the base stamp or product specification page.

  • Important: Items featuring metallic detailing (such as gold, silver, or platinum rims) must never be used in microwave ovens, as this causes arcing and permanent damage.

  • Never place dinnerware over an open flame or electric burner.

Storage Best Practices

  • When stacking plates or bowls, place soft felt, linen, or paper separators between each piece to safeguard glazes from friction scratches.

  • Lift items cleanly from a stack rather than sliding them across one another.

Decorative Objects & Table Accents

  • Dusting: Dust regularly using a clean, dry, feather-soft microfiber duster or cloth.

  • Moisture Sensitivity: Do not immerse decorative ornaments, composite sculptures, or unsealed pieces in water.

  • Spot Cleaning: For stubborn marks, wipe lightly with a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by a dry towel.

Metal, Gold & Silver-Finish Items

For cutlery, serveware, and decorative accents featuring metallic electroplating or polish:

  • Hand Wash Only: High dishwasher heat, steam, and aggressive tablet detergents will degrade electroplated metal finishes over time.

  • Immediate Drying: Dry promptly after washing; water droplets left to air-dry can cause mineral marks and surface tarnishing.

  • Acidic Foods: Avoid leaving cutlery or serving pieces in prolonged contact with acidic foods (such as lemon juice, vinegar, or tomato-based sauces).
